Legit is now ISO 27001 certified

Reinforcing the security standards that underpin our technology and operations.

We are proud to share that Legit has officially obtained ISO 27001 certification, one of the most respected global standards for information security management.

This achievement confirms that our security controls, internal processes, and organizational practices operate within a rigorously structured framework designed to safeguard sensitive information and support secure operations as our services scale.

With ISO 27001 certification, Legit strengthens the security foundation behind Data Privacy Manager, providing customers with assurance that information security is governed through verified, internationally recognized practices.

How we achieved certification

The certification process included a detailed third-party audit that evaluated:

  • The maturity of our Information Security Management System (ISMS)
  • Alignment of our engineering, operations, and IT practices with ISO 27001 requirements
  • Completeness and consistency of implemented controls and supporting documentation
  • Our approach to risk management and operational transparency

What this means for our customers

For Legit customers, ISO 27001 certification provides assurance that information security is managed consistently, responsibly, and in line with internationally recognized standards, supporting secure collaboration and long-term trust.

Specifically, this means:

  • Information security is governed through a structured, risk-based framework rather than informal or ad-hoc practices
  • Security responsibilities, controls, and decision-making are clearly defined, documented, and consistently applied
  • Security risks related to the service are regularly assessed, reviewed, and addressed
  • An independent third party has verified that these practices are implemented and maintained

Leadership insight

“ISO 27001 certification confirms that our systems and processes meet strict international security expectations. It’s an important milestone that reflects our responsibility to customers and the stability of the platform we are building,” said Marijan Bračić, CEO, Legit.

This certification reflects our ongoing commitment to managing information security responsibly as we continue to evolve our platform and services.

The certificate can be verified through SGS.
